Beliefs: part 1

I believe that every student is worthy of dignity and respect. D’uh I can’t think of any other way to be

I am realistic and some days are better than others. I had a reminder today from my kids that what I say and how I say it does have an impact. Sometimes I forget that. I asked them for feedback (anonymously) and, for the most part, it was really worthwhile. I always hate hearing the truth. I need to remember to try and think about one to one check ins, group sharing, communication skills, building relationships.  Why am I not doing it? because of curriculum demands. Do your Best! It’s about making connections.
